The Christmas Poem, 2010
If it is true that we write to find out what is on our minds, it's pretty clear where my head has been at this month.
Of course, I love this poem, David. I really get the sense of the presence of a parent who is now gone, yet is everywhere. And your description of the mall was so accurate, I could hear it. As to your blog, this year I'd like to truly earn the descriptor, "Writer." A REAL Writer. Thanks for the inspiration - and Happy New Year, Mr. Poet!
